Open Proxy Servers

Do not fall victim to
the dangers of
open Proxy Servers!

All of the proxy servers shown on our page are anonymous, SECURE and CLOSED.

Open Proxy Servers ARE NOT secure! They can not only direct hackers right to your computer, but also give complete access to your private information, system passwords and log web pages that you have visited.

Beware

You never know when you are using an open proxy server if it is a misconfigured proxy, hacker trap or one of the many government honey pots. If it is a misconfigured proxy you could be charged with illegal entry into a company, personal or government system.

Everything You Need To Know About The LockDown Hacker Tracker

The hacker Tracker can dig using the following
information that you provide:

You will need to provide some of the information below:

IP Address : The IP address can be any valid IP numbers in the format of 216.41.21.2

Hostname : A valid hostname is any Internet hostname such as "harbortelco.com" or "dialup.241-34-32.nh.harbortelco.com". Use the whois server "whois.networksolutions.com" for any valid host name ending with .com, .net, .org, or .edu

Email Address : A valid email address is any real email address in the format of "username@hostname.com"

Web Page Address : A valid web page address is in the format of
"www.domain.com".

The Hacker Tracker provides the following options to dig into the IP, Hostname, Email Address or web address that you have provided.

Ping Host : Ping is a utility that you use for checking if a certain computer is currently connected to the internet. At the prompt type in the IP address of the computer you would like to bounce a signal.

After hitting enter, the computer will return the number of milliseconds it took for the signal to come back. If you get no response then the computer is down, firewalled to reject ICMP (Internet Control Message Protocol), or you are not connected. Ping is often used to verify your connection to the Internet. If you can ping a computer on the Internet then you, as well as they, are currently connected. Ping is also used to send packets to a host name to obtain the IP address it is using.

NS Lookup : This application is useful for gathering address information about hosts in the network. It is used to query the Internet domain name service (DNS) for specific information about hosts (mail exchanger records [MX]; IP address [A]; canonical names [CNAME]; etc.). If you have an IP address, you can get a canonical name back for the address. If you have a canonical name, you can get an IP address.

The LockDown Hacker Tracker will use nslookup on the IP to find a host name. It then performs a reverse lookup to make sure the DNS has not been configured to avoid traces. If the IP and hostname do not match, Hacker Tracker will traceroute and whois the new found information.

Trace Route : Traceroute will trace the route of data packets sent from your computer to an IP address on the Internet that you provided to the Hacker Tracker. As the packets travel, they will pass through other domains and Internet gateway machines. The final domain or IP "belongs" to the hacker or spammer. Before your data reaches the end of the trace it has to pass through the Internet Service Provider of the hacker or spammer and before that, the ISP of the ISP (the up-stream provider).

Thus, traceroute lets you find the ISP and if it is necessary their ISP and so on.

There are sometimes reasons why you should complain to the upstream provider.

1. When the service provider takes notice that you sent a carbon of the message to his provider, he will most likely take your complaint seriously. He should also respond more quickly. It is like complaining to the boss, and his district manager at the same time.

2. Please be aware that sometimes it can be the service provider or an employee who is doing the hacking. By making the second complaint you are making the ISP's service provider aware. When such complaints are regularly sent, an ISP that condones hacking will not be in business much longer.

3. It will make you feel good knowing that you were thorough in helping this hacker get caught.

Host : Host looks for information about Internet hosts. It gets this information from a set of interconnected servers that are spread across the country. By default, it simply converts between host names and Internet addresses. However, it can be used to find all of the information about this host that is maintained by the domain server. This includes all other domains that are hosted by the top level domain along with what domain or ISP provides mail services. This helps in tracking down spammers.

Technically, every system that can receive mail is supposed to have an entry for who is providing mail services. If the system receives its own mail, there should be an entry that mentions the system itself, "XXX mail is handled by XXX". However some systems that receive their own mail do not bother to mention that fact. If a system has a "mail is handled by" entry, but no address, this indicates that it is not really part of the Internet, but a system that is on the network will forward mail to it. Systems on Usenet, Bitnet, and a number of other networks have entries of this kind.

Dig : Dig (domain information groper) is a flexible tool which can be used to gather information from the Domain Name System servers.

Find Owner Of IP : To Locate the owner of the IP address the Hacker Tracker will attempt a whois using the whois server 'whois.arin.net'. This should always work, but sometimes arin will list the owner of the IP address as ripe.net or some other IP bank. In this case use a manual look up using the whois.ripe.net whois server.

Who Is : All Internet domains are registered through the world and added to different databases. If someone has registered a domain, their information can be found in one of these databases. This is like an Internet phone book that has names, addresses, and phone numbers for all Internet domains. This information is accessible through this whois database.

Who Is Uplink Provider : The Hacker Tracker will attempt to locate the uplink provider for you and whois the domain to provide you with all of the information needed to make a full complaint. If you are having problems with this please refer to the LockDown help files in the area "Locating The Hacker" found in the LockDown program.

LockDown is an 'on the fly' trojan and hacker detector which can be downloaded from http://www.lockdowncorp.com/

Finger On Host : Both finger on user and host can be run on Hacker Tracker. Finger displays the user's login name, real name, terminal name and write status (as a "*" after the terminal name if write permission is denied), idle time, login time, office location and office phone number.

Mail status is shown as "No Mail" if there is no mail at all, You will see "Mail last read" and then provide the date and time. If the person has looked at their mailbox since new mail arriving, or you will see "New mail re-ceived ..." and then Unread since ...''

Other options would be when this person last read his email, and if he is online right now.

The finger to the host will display all users online on the individual ISP machine right now.

Because so much information can be found out about online connections using finger, many ISP's disable this service to provide more privacy for their users.

Find MAC Address : The MAC (Media Access Control) address is a unique 48-bit serial number that cannot be turned off or changed. It comes from a network card or dialup adapter. If the hacker has a network card, this serial number can be used to track the hacker right to his machine. Many cable Internet service providers keep a log of these MAC addresses and use them to control how many computers are being used on their service by each of their clients. To the hacker, this MAC address can be like having a monster cookie that is leaving his finger print everywhere he goes. If you log the MAC address be sure to send it to the hacker's ISP. Seeing it is like having a copy of his finger print on file.

Find NetBIOS Information : If the hacker has networking installed, this NetBIOS information option will give you the "NetBIOS Name" of the offending computer and the "Login Name" of the user. This information can come in handy. The NetBIOS name, is the name that was used during the setup of the network. This is found in the Network Computer Name section under "identification". Many times people will use their real first and last name in this section without thinking. The "User Name" is the name that Windows prompts for each time they reboot their computer. Most times you can get a real first and last name from this information area.
